Late Wide Belt
This bracket is designed for the Ford/Mercury 1949 car & 48-53 truck motors running the 5/8" wide belt. Bracket mounts the Sanden A.C. compressor & GM standard case alternator off of the original generator mounting flange. Set-up may be used with all "regular" dual intakes, four barrel & stock intakes (may not fit triple carb). A 3/4" wide single groove clutch assembly for the A.C. compressor & a wide groove alternator pulley will also be required for the 5/8" wide belt. Set-up will also require off-set waternecks to provide radiator hose clearance. Will retain stock fan assembly.
